TK Maxx Christmas 2018 - The Neverending Stocking
TK Maxx wanted to make an advert to let everyone know it was Christmas (just in case any of you have forgotten because it does only happen once a year so it is QUITE forgettable). They also wanted everyone to know they still have BIG gifts at SMALL prices, and that it’s ridiculous what you can get in there. Because that’s also all still true. *brand consistency is a thiiiing*
So we got a writing and a thinking and an umming and an aching and stressed a lot about how on earth we were going to better this AND we decided that a REALLY REALLY REALLY BIG GIFT would be something like, yano, Christmas everyday for a year. Delivered by the metaphorical means of something like, Yano, A NEVERENDING STOCKING. OHmygoshisntthatwhatdreamsaremadeof!!?
Yes kids. Yes it is. <3
We made this marvellous 95 million second advert with the exceptionally funny Nick Ball and Blink Productions. Johnny and Will, also of Blink fame, made and puppeteer-er-er-ed the 26 metre stocking. They even got inside it sometimes.
We also made REAL LIFE stockings with the help/handicraft/hands/elves of Andy Gent (creator de la incredible of the Fantastic Mr Fox puppets).
Some snazzy jazzy print was shot by Aleksandra Kingo + Amy Friend and designed by Mr Tom Wood (buy him a drink srsly i don’t know his weight but if it was in gold he would be worth it) and also the banners and alllll that stuff were very good too. Check them out on the internet especially in Poland if you get to go there soon.
Made with the ever-dreamy Creative Director Hollie Walker, Chloe Cordon (the last hurrrah huzzah), team TK, Blink and the gang.
